Proposal and justifications

1. During this assignment I will be planning to make a website based around my YoutTube channel.

2. When making my website I plan on targeting gamers both male and female aged 12 and above. The secondary audience I will be targeting are well known companies looking to make a partnership with someone.

3. The purpose of my YouTube is to entertain viewers and brighten up their days and, showing off my editing and entertainment skills to any companies that may be scouting me for partnerships.

4. The video I will be making for this assignment will consist of some of my best moments on my YouTube channel, this will help lure people in due to a bunch of entertaining moments in one video.

5. On the paper work side of things, when recording I will need the following:
  • Risk assessment: If I were to record for example at a trampoline park, I wouldn't be able to bounce while recording due to me not being focused what's happening around me, if I drop the camera and land on it etc.
  • Location release: Gives me permission to record in certain buildings, for example college.
  • Minor talent release: For those under 18 who will be featured in my video.

6. The only thing that will impact me when making videos is the Health and Safety regulations, this means I wouldn't be able to spend numerous amounts of time looking at a computer screen editing my videos due to it being unhealthy.

7. Hardware and Software:
Photoshop: Thumbnail for the video
Sony Vegas pro 13: Editing the video
DSLR: To add a few parts at the start of the video
A Computer: Edit the video and create the website
PowerPoint: Design the website

File types:
PNG for my thumbnail
.mp4 for my video

East Norfolk logo recreation

Our task was to recreate the East Norfolk logo using inkscape or Photoshop, I decided to use Photoshop because I disliked the layout and the tools on inkscape. Once we made the EN logo on Photoshop we exported it as an .svg so it was no longer a bitmap image but is now a vector image

Creating vector graphics

For this task we chose two detailed pictures from the internet and zoomed them in to see the quility drop and identify the pixels in the picture, after we investigated the image we converted it into a vector image. A vector is an image made out of shapes and not pixels, so when zooming into the image you can see the shapes used to re-create the images as shown above. We decided to do this task so we can see the difference between vector and bitmap images when it comes to resolution and pixels.
